Ashbourne Recycling Centre (Tip) - Rules 2026
In Derbyshire, there is no booking system for standard car visits to Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs). However, as of late 2024, a mandatory vehicle registration scheme was introduced.You must register your vehicle’s plate once to use any of the council's sites. Van users must register each time they wish to visit. The permit is valid for 24 hours. Commercial waste is only accepted at the Ashbourne and Stonegravels sites for a fee.
