In Rutland, the booking system for recycling centres (HWRCs) was a temporary measure during the pandemic and has since been removed. You do not need to book a time slot to visit the tip. Instead of booking a slot, you must ensure your vehicle is registered on the council's Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. Residents must show ID to enter the North Luffenham centre.

Important Site Rules
- Registration Required: You must be a Rutland resident and register your vehicle on the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system via MyAccount before visiting.
- The site is open 6 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Summer hours (1 April to 30 September) are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Winter hours (1 October to 31 March) are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Trailers: You can use trailers that are less than 3 metres (excluding the towing iron) at this site.
- No pedestrian access is permitted.
- Site capacity: During busy periods (especially weekends), the site may temporarily close or turn away specific items if capacity is reached.
