In Hertfordshire, there is no booking system for a specific time and day. All residents will soon need to register for a digital E-pass to access any of the county's recycling centres. The council has recently approved a digital pass to prioritise Hertfordshire residents and reduce misuse by non-residents. Is it a booking? No. Once you have the E-pass, you can turn up whenever the site is open.

Important Site Rules
- Open 7 days a week.
- Year-round Hours: 10:00 - 17:30.
- New E-pass system: As of Spring 2026, residents must register for a digital E-pass to access Hertfordshire recycling centres.
- No booking required, but the E-pass is mandatory for entry.
- If visiting with a van or trailer, a separate permit is required in addition to the E-pass.
- Trade/business waste is strictly prohibited.
- On-site Reuse Shop available for donating or purchasing household items.
