Important Site Rules
- Mandatory Booking: Entry is only possible with a pre-booked slot. You can book via the Council website or Bin-ovation app up to 30 minutes before arrival.
- Resident Only: Site access is strictly for residents of the Ards and North Down Borough. You must bring proof of residence (e.g., Driver's License or utility bill).
- Sunday Closure: This site is strictly closed on Sundays. For Sunday disposal, you must use the Balloo (Bangor) or Holywood sites.
- Limited Waste Streams: Due to the smaller size of this site, it cannot accept certain larger items like plasterboard or rubble. The booking system will automatically redirect you to Balloo or Newtownards if you select these items.
- Fair Use Limit: Each household is limited to 15 visits per year across all borough recycling centres.
- Last Entry: The gates typically close 10-15 minutes before the stated closing time.
