- Mandatory Booking: You MUST book your visit in advance via the council website or Bin-ovation app. You will be turned away without a valid reference number.
- Resident Only: Site access is strictly for residents of the Ards and North Down Borough. Proof of address (ID/Utility Bill) is required.
- Sunday Closure: This site is strictly closed on Sundays. The nearest open sites on a Sunday are Balloo (Bangor) or Holywood.
- Space Restrictions: As a smaller site, Kircubbin has a more limited range of recycling options. For bulky items like mattresses, plasterboard, or rubble, the booking system may redirect you to the larger Balloo or Newtownards sites.
- Last Entry: The gates typically close 10-15 minutes before the stated closing time to allow the site to be cleared by the staff.
