- Mandatory Booking: You MUST book a visit in advance via the council website or Bin-ovation app. Entry will be refused without a booking reference.
- Resident Only: Restricted to residents of Ards and North Down Borough. You must bring photographic ID and proof of address.
- Sunday Closure: This site is strictly closed on Sundays. The nearest open sites on a Sunday are Balloo (Bangor) or Holywood.
- Last Entry: The gates effectively close 10-15 minutes before the stated closing time to allow for final clearing.
- Fair Use Policy: Residents are limited to 15 visits per household per year to prevent commercial abuse of the service.
- Community RePaint: Millisle participates in the paint reuse scheme where you can drop off or pick up leftover usable paint.
